Job summary

Imaging Associates is seeking a Medical Imaging Receptionist to join our team at our Box Hill clinic and booking centre. You will be the first point of contact for patients, handling calls, bookings, and enquiries while ensuring a compassionate, efficient experience throughout the imaging journey.

You will manage inbound calls, provide clear information to patients and referrers, maintain accurate records, and assist with billing tasks.

• Experience in medical administration or contact centre is highly regarded.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and answer patient inquiries in a calm, professional manner.
• Greet patients and maintain a smooth patient workflow.
• Manage patient bookings, rescheduling, and cancellations.
• Provide information to patients and referrers regarding imaging services.
• Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially.
• Perform administrative tasks to support the wider team.

With clinics located across Melbourne, Gippsland, and Wagga Wagga, and more opening throughout the coming months, we are expanding our patient-facing team at our Box Hill clinic and Box Hill booking centre, along with our surrounding clinics.

Medical Imaging Receptionist

We are currently seeking a Medical Imaging Receptionist to join us on our growth journey - a role that plays a vital part in shaping the first impression our patients receive and ensuring the smooth, compassionate experience Imaging Associates is known for.

As the first point of contact, you’ll play a vital role in supporting patients through their medical imaging journey. You’ll manage inbound calls, providing clear and compassionate communication while handling bookings, enquiries, and follow-ups, along with the overall patient workflow.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Handling inbound calls and answering patient inquiries in a calm, professional manner
