Job summary

IAG Defence & National Security in Canberra is seeking an experienced Radar Systems Engineer to support the development, integration and enhancement of advanced sensing capabilities within a Defence environment. You will work onsite to contribute to HF and Microwave radar systems, perform requirements analysis, document interfaces, and collaborate across sensing and networked systems.

A current NV1 security clearance is required; NV2 or TSPV is highly regarded, with offices across Australia

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience with HF and/or Microwave radar systems.
  • Experience in systems engineering, capability development and technical analysis.
  • Experience developing technical documentation, requirements and design artefacts.
  • Understanding of sensor integration, interoperability and networked systems.
  • Current NV1 Security Clearance (NV2 or TSPV highly regarded).
  • Ability to work onsite in Canberra, ACT.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Radar Systems Engineer to support the development, integration and enhancement of advanced sensing capabilities within a complex Defence environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support HF and Microwave radar systems engineering and capability development.
  • Conduct requirements analysis, system design and integration activities.
  • Develop technical documentation, architecture artefacts and interface specifications.
  • Support testing, certification and interoperability activities.
  • Provide technical expertise across sensing, networked systems and integrated capability environments.
