Job summary

IAG Defence & National Security is seeking a Delivery Engineering Manager in Canberra to lead planning, scheduling and delivery of complex engineering outcomes within a Defence program. The role focuses on coordinating engineering teams, governance and stakeholder engagement to achieve program objectives.

You will manage technical risk, develop engineering plans and documentation, and maintain strong relationships with technical leads and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience leading engineering delivery within Defence or Government environments.
  • Active TSPV security clearance or a TSPV clearance that can be reinstated.
  • ACT onsite attendance required.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Engineering Manager to support the planning, coordination and delivery of complex engineering capability outcomes within a Defence environment. This Canberra-based role will lead engineering activities, stakeholder engagement and governance activities across a major capability program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead engineering planning, scheduling and delivery activities to achieve program objectives.
  • Coordinate engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of capability outcomes.
  • Provide engineering governance, assurance and risk management support across the program lifecycle.
  • Manage relationships with technical leads, project stakeholders and external partners.
  • Support the development and review of engineering plans, processes, procedures and related documentation.
Required

Bachelor Degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience leading engineering delivery within complex Defence or Government environments. Ability to manage technical risk, governance and engineering assurance activities. Active TSPV security clearance or a TSPV clearance that can be reinstated. ACT onsite attendance is required.
