Job summary

IAG Defence & National Security in Canberra is seeking an experienced Radar Systems Engineer to support the development, integration and enhancement of advanced sensing capabilities within a Defence environment. You will work onsite to contribute to HF and Microwave radar systems, perform requirements analysis, document interfaces, and collaborate across sensing and networked systems.

A current NV1 security clearance is required; NV2 or TSPV is highly regarded, with offices across Australia

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience with HF and/or Microwave radar systems.
Experience in systems engineering, capability development and technical analysis.
Experience developing technical documentation, requirements and design artefacts.
Understanding of sensor integration, interoperability and networked systems.
Current NV1 Security Clearance (NV2 or TSPV highly regarded).
Ability to work onsite in Canberra, ACT.

Responsibilities

Support HF and Microwave radar systems engineering and capability development.
Conduct requirements analysis, system design and integration activities.
Develop technical documentation, architecture artefacts and interface specifications.
Support testing, certification and interoperability activities.
Provide technical expertise across sensing, networked systems and integrated capability environments.
