Job summary

Arcare Aged Care is seeking a Quality Support Officer to join our Victoria team in a full-time role. The ideal candidate holds current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and will support residence managers in maintaining systems, auditing reports, and driving quality improvements.

You will contribute to accreditation preparation, educate staff on standards, and mentor managers in understanding aged care quality and compliance, within a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Act, Standards, Guideline and Regulations.
• Adaptable, passionate and willingness to learn.
• Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
• Friendly and effective communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support residence managers in ensuring systems and processes are maintained.
• Accurate auditing and reporting to Residence Managers, Regional Operational Managers, State Operation Managers, the General Manager Clinical Governance and Client Safety in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the quality improvement processes at Arcare.
• Assist residence managers in preparation for accreditation visits by the Quality Agency.
• Provide education to staff regarding accreditation standards and other quality issues.
• Act as a mentor to managers and staff in developing their understanding of aged care quality and compliance.
