Job summary

Equity Trustees Ltd in Melbourne is seeking a Business Assurance Officer to strengthen risk, quality and client outcomes within Trustee & Wealth Services. In this role you will work with the Senior Manager, Professional Standards to drive QA activities and support audits and compliance initiatives.

• Experience in risk, compliance, governance or audit within financial services.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends.
• Experience conducting QA activities and reporting.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the TWS Quality Assurance Program and QA Plan
• Conduct quality reviews and control testing across the business
• Monitor incidents, complaints and audit findings for trends
• Assist with remediation and strengthening operational controls
• Prepare reporting and insights for management committees
• Support risk, compliance and governance activities across TWS
• Collaborate with stakeholders including Enterprise Risk and Internal Audit
• Contribute to process improvements affecting client and risk outcomes
• Support development and implementation of policies and quality frameworks
