Job summary

Dovida is a leading provider of person-centred home care services across Australia. We support older Australians to live independently at home through services including companionship, domestic assistance, personal care, transport, meal preparation, and medication support.

We are seeking an experienced Quality Officer to support quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across Melbourne's North West Victoria region.

Qualifications

  • Experience in quality, compliance, risk management in a regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of aged care, community care, disability services, or healthcare quality frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement and risk management principles.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with coaching ability.
  • Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

  • Support and embed quality, compliance, and risk management across multiple office locations.
  • Promote consistent implementation of QMS and aged care quality standards.
  • Provide coaching to operational teams translating quality requirements into practice.
  • Support incident management, complaints, risk assessments, and quality investigations.
  • Analyse quality data and trends to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Assist offices with audit preparation, compliance evidence, and regulatory requirements.
  • Build strong relationships across sites to foster a positive quality culture.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Officer to support quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across Melbourne's North West Victoria region.

This is a unique opportunity to work across multiple locations, partnering closely with Business Operations Managers, Leadership Teams, Care Managers, and our National Quality, Risk & Clinical Governance team to drive consistent, high-quality service delivery.

As a visible and trusted quality partner, you will help strengthen quality systems, support teams through legislative and industry changes, and foster a positive culture of continuous improvement. Regular travel between offices will form part of this role, allowing you to build strong relationships and provide hands‑on support where it is needed most.

Key Responsibilities

About You

You are a collaborative and approachable quality professional who enjoys working with operational teams to improve quality outcomes and support best practice.

You will bring
  • Experience in quality, compliance, risk management, auditing, or governance within a regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of aged care, community care, disability services, or healthcare quality frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement, quality management systems, and risk management principles.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and coach others.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently across multiple sites while building strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Relevant qualifications are desirable; however, equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • A current driver's licence and willingness to regularly travel between office locations.
