Job summary

Leaders IT is seeking a software development professional to design, code, test and install applications across platforms. You will prepare and maintain system documentation and assist in analysis and design with users and Business Analysts.

You will modify and troubleshoot applications, liaise with users and contribute to testing, with emphasis on delivering reliable, well-documented software solutions and smooth post-implementation support.

Qualifications

• Collaborate with Business Analysts to establish system requirements
• Produce system and program documentation during design and maintenance
• Develop solutions to meet agreed specifications and convert requirements into functional systems
• Ensure work follows required standards, methods and procedures
• Contribute to testing and validation activities

Responsibilities

• Work with Business Analysts to analyse processes and user requirements to establish system requirements
• Participate in system design including production of documentation and ongoing maintenance
• Develop, program and code software solutions to meet specifications and enhance systems
• Create development and support documentation and provide advice to enable pro-active support
• Undertake complex testing activities and develop test scripts and scenarios
