Job summary

Silverstrand Developments is seeking 2 x HSEQ Advisors to join an expert team on a Brisbane-anchored project. The role involves site safety leadership across a major infrastructure program with DIDO logistics, camp facilities, and bus transport provided.

Reporting to the HSEQ Lead, you will develop SWMS/JHA, conduct risk assessments, deliver training, and administer HSEQ software while ensuring compliance with legislation and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in the Construction Health and Safety sector.
• Experience with Lucidity - highly regarded.
• Cert IV in Workplace Health and Safety (minimum).
• Current First aid certificate and driver's license.
• Knowledge of current HSE legislation, acts, codes of practice and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• High level of attention to detail and problem solving.
• Positive attitude and approachable demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring construction sites comply with all current legislation and codes of practice.
• Training and mentoring the project team.
• Preparation of SWMS and JHA's.

• Experienced in AS/NZS 4801:2001 OHSMS and ISO 14001:2015 EMS.

DIDO - project from Brisbane to a large infrastructure project 4 hours west of Brisbane.2/1 Roster - Camp, Meals, Bus provided.

Local SEQ - Local infrastructure projects - Bridges, WWTPs, Roads, Rail, etc.

About the role:

Essential Skills and Experience:

• 3 years’ experience in the Construction Health and Safety Sector
