Job summary

The Lumiere Foundation is seeking a Quality and Compliance Officer to join the Quality Team, based at our Sydney office. You will oversee adherence to NDIS Practice Standards and OOHC Code of Practice to support the welfare and safety of people we serve.

In this Not-for-Profit role you will drive continuous improvement, maintain compliance registers, and participate in internal audits while collaborating with ICCare and frontline teams to sustain accreditation and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal auditing or compliance roles with strong problem-solving skills.
• NDIS and OOHC space experience is highly regarded.
• Strong written documentation and English communication for professional notes and reports.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the organisation remains quality and compliance focused and supports continuous improvement.
• Drive compliance activities across the organisation.
• Participate in internal auditing activities per the Internal Audit Schedule.
• Maintain key compliance registers and documentation.
• Lead projects as directed by the Quality, Compliance and Safeguarding Manager.
• Collate data and analyse trends across the organisation.
• Identify improvement areas and recommend strategic solutions for complex matters.
• Complete risk assessments and implement mitigation actions.
• Perform administrative tasks within agreed timeframes.
