Qualifications

Quality Assurance Officer – Farm & Silo Operations

A fantastic opportunity is available for a Quality Assurance Officer to join a farming operation in the Berrigan region of southern New South Wales. This role will suit a highly organized person with strong attention to detail who enjoys working across both grain storage operations and livestock management. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, monitoring compliance and quality standards, and ensuring farm operations are properly documented and managed.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain silo complex records and documentation


• Develop, implement and oversee quality assurance programs within silo and in respect of livestock


• Assist management with compliance and biosecurity requirements across grain storage and silo operations


• Maintain accurate records relating to silo management, grain handling and storage


• Monitor livestock management practices and maintain comprehensive animal husbandry records


• Maintain livestock health, treatment, movement and production records


• Assist with ensuring farm procedures meet relevant quality, safety and animal welfare requirements


• Identify discrepancies or issues in records and follow up as required


• Prepare reports and documentation for management


• Work closely with farm staff, contractors and management to ensure accurate record keeping
