Job summary

Real Dairy Australia is seeking a Site Quality Assurance Manager to own the Quality, Food Safety and Regulatory systems for the Greenacre site in Sydney. Reporting to the GM - Quality, you will lead the QA/QC team, maintain compliance across HACCP programs and ensure robust record-keeping and audits.

The role requires a diploma/degree in Food Science or related field and at least 3 years of QAM experience in food manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' QAM experience within food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality systems.
• Experience with HACCP, GMP, and documentation/record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the site's QMS, quality, food safety and regulatory systems.
• Monitor CCPs/QCPs, conduct GMP walks, manage records and calibration.
• Lead investigations of complaints, incidents and non-conformances; drive CAPA and NCR reporting.
• Represent the site in GFSI, customer and regulatory audits.
• Mentor and manage QA/QC team performance and recruitment.
• Deliver regular QMS review reporting (monthly/quarterly/annual).
• Ensure export orders are compliant and support regulatory affairs.

Real Dairy Australia is a 100% Australian-owned and operated business and one of the largest independently owned cheese processors in the country, producing and packaging a broad range of cheeses for the retail, foodservice, QSR and industrial markets. Their Greenacre site is home to head office and their primary processing operation.

About the role

Reporting to the GM - Quality, the Site Quality Assurance Manager owns the implementation, maintenance and management of the Quality, Food Safety and Regulatory systems for the Greenacre site.

What you'll do

• Manage the site's Quality, Food Safety and Regulatory systems, including HACCP prerequisite programs
• Monitor CCPs and QCPs, conduct GMP walks, and manage record-keeping, retention samples and calibration
• Lead complaint, incident and non-conformance investigations, and own the NCR & audit CAPA program with timely reporting to customers and regulators
• Represent the site in GFSI, customer and regulatory audits
• Mentor, direct, train and manage the performance of the QA/QC team, including recruitment
• Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual Quality Management Review reporting
• Ensure all export orders are compliant, and support the GM - Quality with QMS and regulatory affairs

What you'll bring
