Job summary

BE Campbell is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to own site QA, lead a high performing technical team, and drive a strong Quality & Food Safety culture across a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

This hands‑on leadership role focuses on improving systems, developing people, and embedding QA where it matters most on the factory floor, including leading external audits and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a QA leadership role within FMCG or manufacturing.
• Tertiary qualification in Food Science or equivalent.
• Experience with GFSI standards and quality system tools.
• Experience leading external audits (retail, third‑party, import/export).
• Passionate about quality and food safety and influencing teams on the factory floor.
• Balance strong technical capability with practical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of site QA and drive a strong Quality & Food Safety culture.
• Lead a high performing technical team and embed QA on the factory floor.
• Drive improvements to systems, people development, and audit readiness.

If you’re a QA leader who wants more than spreadsheets, audits and ticking boxes, this role is for you!

We’re looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to take ownership of site QA, lead a high performing technical team, and drive a strong Quality & Food Safety culture across a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

This is a hands‑on leadership role with real influence in improving systems, developing people, and embedding quality where it matters most, on the factory floor.

What you’ll be known for

• Driving a positive Culture through BEC Culture Excellence Plans
• Building and leading a respected QA team on site
• Developing capability through training, skills matrices and coaching
• Leading external audits and using insights to lift standards and improve audit preparation
• Maintaining and improving site Quality Management System
• Partnering closely with Operations to embed QA into daily routines
• Using data, trends and lean thinking to drive continuous improvement
• Championing Compliance behaviours across the site

This role will suit you if you:

• Have 5+ years in a QA leadership role within FMCG or manufacturing
• Hold tertiary qualifications in Food Science or equivalent
• Experience with GFSI standards and quality system tools
• Experience Leading external audits (retail, third‑party, import/export)
• Passionate about Quality & food safety and influencing teams with this passion
• Balance strong technical capability with practical leadership
