Bakers Delight Cameron Park opens soon in Cameron Park Plaza. We are seeking Bakers and Apprentice Bakers who love baking, enjoy early starts and thrive in a fast-paced team. You will prepare and bake a wide range of products while upholding high quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.

Apprentice Bakers can pursue a Certificate III in Retail Baking through TAFE while earning wages. Join brand-new equipment and a modern store, with training and development supported by experienced owners.

Qualifications

• Maintain a positive attitude and genuine interest in baking and skill development.
• Be punctual and reliable, with availability for early starts and weekend shifts.
• Prepare, bake and finish a range of bakery products per company standards.
• Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently (mixers, ovens).
• Assist with dough preparation, scaling, shaping and cutting for consistency.

Bakers Delight Cameron Park is a brand new bakery opening this December at Cameron Park Plaza. The franchise is family owned, locally based and operated by an experienced baker with more than 16 years in the Bakers Delight network. About the Role

We are currently seeking Bakers and Apprentice Bakers for our brand new bakery opening this December at Cameron Park Plaza. That’s right - all brand new equipment, the latest baking technology and a clean, modern environment ready to showcase just how good Bakers Delight bread really is.

We’re looking for motivated, hands on people who love baking, enjoy early starts and thrive in a fast paced team. You’ll be preparing and baking a wide range of products while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and presenting quality bakery products
• Learning baking processes including mixing, shaping and baking
• Supporting a clean and safe bakery environment
• Assisting with stock control and production tasks
• Providing friendly customer service when required
• Weighing flour and ingredients to prepare dough
• Operating bakery machines and tools
• Decorating baked goods with glazes, icings and toppings
• Following company policies and procedures, including Workplace Health and Safety standards

If you join us as an Apprentice Baker, you’ll have the opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Retail Baking. You’ll attend TAFE as part of your training and be supported every step of the way while earning a wage and gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

Experience and Qualifications

• Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate a genuine interest in baking and continuous skill development
• Consistently arrive on time and be reliable, including availability for early morning starts and weekend shifts
• Prepare, bake and finish a range of bakery products in line with company standards
• Operate bakery equipment such as mixers and deck ovens safely and efficiently
• Assist with dough preparation, scaling, shaping and cutting to ensure product consistency
• Follow recipes and production processes accurately, including working with sourdough and yeast based products
• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team to meet daily production requirements
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail to ensure high quality and consistent products are delivered to customers
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace in accordance with safety and food handling procedures
