Job summary

Sociable Tech in Victoria is seeking an experienced baker to join our production team. The role requires handling dough, monitoring ovens, ensuring food safety, and maintaining clean, organised work areas in a fast-paced environment.

Formal baking qualifications are required, with commercial bakery experience advantageous. You will work a rotating roster on a full-time basis with competitive AU$80,000–85,000 salary and opportunities for career development, including sponsorship for right

Responsibilities

• Check equipment cleanliness and operation before production to ensure safety and compliance
• Check quality of raw materials and weigh ingredients
• Knead, mature, cut, mould and shape dough and pastry
• Prepare pastry fillings
• Monitor oven temperatures and baking times
• Coordinate forming, loading, baking, unloading, cooling of batches
• Glaze buns and pastries, decorate cakes with icing
• Operate dough forming and cutting machines
• Clean and grease trays and equipment
• Maintain a reliable, hardworking, team-oriented attitude

Global Unity JOIN OUR BAKING TEAM Are you aqualified and experienced Bakerlooking for your next opportunity in Victoria We are seeking passionate, reliable and skilled bakers to join our growing team.

What we’re looking for:

• Checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises before production runs to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
• Checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients
• Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough and pastry goods
• Preparing pastry fillings
• Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times
• Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products
• Glazing buns and pastries, and decorating cakes with cream and icing
• Operating machines which roll and mould dough and cut biscuits
• Emptying, cleaning and greasing baking trays, tins and other cooking equipment
• Reliable, hardworking and team-oriented attitude
• Related baking qualification will be advantaged
