Job summary

The Crusty Loaf Bakery in Frankston seeks a Qualified Baker to join a friendly, experienced production team. You will prepare and produce a range of fresh bakery goods while upholding high standards of quality, food safety and consistency.

This casual full-time role offers consistent early morning shifts from 2:00am to 10:00am, Tuesday to Saturday with extra day as required, and a supportive environment where you can grow your baking skills and contribute to daily production.

Qualifications

• Has commercial baking experience.
• Has knowledge of baking techniques and processes.
• Is reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Can work early morning shifts.
• Understands food safety and hygiene requirements.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and mixing doughs and batters.
• Producing breads, rolls, pastries and other bakery products.
• Measuring and preparing ingredients accurately.
• Operating and monitoring bakery equipment.
• Following recipes and production requirements.
• Ensuring products are baked to a high standard.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
• Following food safety and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Assisting with daily bakery production.
• Working effectively as part of a team.

About the Role
