Job summary

Cater Care Group is seeking a State Manager – Operations to lead our Queensland portfolio across aged care, retirement living and education. You will champion culinary quality, mentor site managers and kitchen teams, and ensure each resident experiences dignity and nourishment daily.

You will spend significant time on-site, travel regionally and build strong client partnerships while upholding safety, budget, and quality standards across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership across multiple sites in catering/aged care
• Strong budget management and cost control experience
• Proven track record mentoring site managers and kitchen teams
• Knowledge of food safety standards and Aged Care guidelines

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day catering operations across Queensland sites (aged care, education, retirement living).
• Coach and mentor site managers, chefs and kitchen teams to uphold quality and culture.
• Spend time on-site to stay connected with residents, clients and teams.
• Manage budgets, food costs and resources to achieve commercial and quality outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, Aged Care standards and WHS requirements.
