Job summary

Integrated Disability Support Services is hiring a Disability Support Worker/Lifestyle Mentor for the Sunshine Coast. You will help participants build independence and lead fulfilling lives, with shifts including day, night, and sleepover as needed.

Key responsibilities include personal care, medication administration, meal prep, and supporting skills development while promoting community inclusion and empowerment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent is preferred.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Blue Card (or willingness to apply for) is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and a person-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal care, medication administration, meal preparation and domestic activities.
• Support development of skills such as job readiness, cooking, budgeting, and transport navigation.
• Promote social and community inclusion by helping participants connect with others and pursue interests.
