Job summary

Accor is seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee day-to-day purchasing and procurement across the hotel. Based in Sydney, you will work with departments to understand needs and source food, beverage, and general hotel supplies.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will monitor stock, negotiate with suppliers, and identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality. This role requires strong negotiation and independent yet collaborative work style.

Qualifications

• Previous experience, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• A good understanding of inventory and stock control.
• The ability to work independently while being a collaborative member of the wider hotel team.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Job Description
