Job summary

Novotel Sydney Darling Square is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead day-to-day procurement for the hotel. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will work with Culinary, Housekeeping, Front Office and other departments to source and manage food, beverage, and general supplies.

You will monitor stock levels, build strong supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and terms, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good understanding of inventory and stock control.
• Ability to work independently while being a collaborative hotel team member.
• Practical, solutions-focused approach in a fast-paced setting.

Job Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller you will manage the day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities across the hotel.
