Job summary

Scyne Advisory Pty is seeking a highly motivated Internal Audit Manager to lead engagements for public sector clients, delivering risk-focused audits and advisory support. You will manage programs, oversee engagement teams, and report to stakeholders, while promoting our values and culture.

You will build relationships with clients and colleagues, apply risk and governance expertise, and mentor junior staff. A strong focus on continuous learning and delivering high-quality audits is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of internal audit and risk experience in public sector or professional services.
• CIA certification preferred.
• Proven ability to manage and deliver internal audit projects and programs to a high quality.
• Proven ability to build effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of internal audit and risk management methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for audit reports and client briefings.
• Continuous learning mindset, staying informed on trends and risks.

• Providing expertise on risk management, governance, business processes, controls and compliance across public sector industries.
• Developing the skills and capabilities of junior team members through on-the-job training.
• Supporting business development through tender responses and thought-leadership material.
