Job summary

ALH Hotels’ Commercial Hotel on the Gold Coast hinterland invites an energetic Assistant Manager to lead the floor, oversee a busy dining and gaming environment, and keep service standards at gold-level. You’ll manage a large crew, maintain venue presentation, and drive a positive vibe across shifts.

The role requires hands-on leadership, a current RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence, and a passion for hospitality that keeps regulars returning.

Qualifications

• Hands-on role with physical tasks (manual handling, lifting, stocking)
• Experience supervising or leading a hospitality team
• Current RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence as per state requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead a busy dining, bar and gaming floor to ensure high service standards
• Coordinate staff to maintain venue presentation and safe operations
• Resolve issues quickly to keep shifts running smoothly
• Foster a positive, energetic atmosphere and strong guest relationships
• Collaborate with Publican to run the pub efficiently across all areas
