Job summary

Zurich Cover-More in Brisbane, Australia, seeks an experienced Propositions Lead to drive new initiatives across Australia and New Zealand. You will coordinate with Product, Underwriting, Pricing, Technology, Operations, Claims, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Risk and Compliance to bring opportunities to market.

You’ll translate market opportunities into briefs, build business cases and manage governance through approval to launch and optimisation, influencing senior stakeholders and leading

Qualifications

• Experience in proposition development, product delivery, project management, partnerships or product management.
• Background within insurance, financial services or another regulated environment.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Experience bringing new products, services, digital experiences or partner solutions to market.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to interpret business cases and growth opportunities.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Confidence engaging with senior leaders, partners and external stakeholders.
• Strong written communication skills, including business cases, executive papers and proposition proposals.
• A practical, solutions-focused mindset combined with strong analytical capability.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Create structure, transparency and momentum across proposition initiatives, ensuring each opportunity is commercially viable, operationally feasible and aligned with customer, partner and business needs.
• Own the proposition lifecycle from concept through approval, build, launch, performance review and optimisation.
• Translate market opportunities and partner requirements into proposition briefs, business requirements and delivery plans.
• Build compelling business cases and decision-ready recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Drive propositions through governance, risk, compliance and executive approval processes.
• Manage proposition pipelines, delivery milestones, dependencies and risks.
• Support the delivery of new products, services, digital experiences and partner propositions.
• Contribute to embedded insurance, bundled product and strategic distribution opportunities.
• Support major RFPs and partner growth initiatives by coordinating commercial, operational and product inputs.
• Identify opportunities that improve customer outcomes, conversion, retention and partner value.
• Develop scalable proposition frameworks that can be leveraged across multiple partners.
• Work closely with existing and prospective partners to understand customer needs, digital journeys and commercial objectives.

What you’ll be doing:

Internally known as the Propositions Lead, this is a newly created role reporting into the Head of New Business & Proposition. You'll act as the proposition delivery owner for key strategic initiatives across Australia and New Zealand.
