Zurich Cover-More is seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for the ANZ region, partnering with senior leaders to drive commercial outcomes.

You will build driver-based models, deliver monthly reports, and push automation and governance in a hybrid role based in North Sydney, Australia. The role offers growth, onboarding, and generous leave while supporting travel insurance experts in a global group.

Qualificações

• CA or CPA qualification
• 5+ years in FP&A, FBP or financial management
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
• Advanced analytical skills and storytelling with data
• Experience driving process improvement and automation
• Stakeholder management with influence across teams
• Experience in a matrixed organisation
• Insurance industry experience not essential

What you’ll be doing:

This is more than a reporting role. You'll work closely with senior leaders, influence commercial outcomes, and drive improvements that enhance the way we plan, analyse and manage performance across the business.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities across the ANZ business
• Develop and maintain driver-based financial models covering revenue, expenses and headcount
• Deliver monthly management reporting and provide meaningful insights into business performance
• Analyse trends, risks and opportunities, helping leaders make informed decisions
• Partner with stakeholders across multiple functions to translate financial data into actionable recommendations
• Drive process improvement, automation and reporting enhancements, including leveraging Power BI and other analytical tools
• Support governance, financial controls and compliance with Zurich standards
• Collaborate with regional and global finance teams to deliver planning and reporting requirement

What skills and experience you’ll bring on this journey:

We're looking for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys turning data into insights and partnering with the business to drive results.

• CA or CPA qualification
• 5+ years' experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Commercial Finance or Financial Management
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling capability
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and tell the story behind the numbers
• Experience driving process improvement, automation and reporting efficienciesStrong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence and challenge constructively
• Experience working in a complex or matrixed organisation
• Insurance industry experience is not essential.
