Zurich Cover-More is seeking an experienced Front-end Software Engineer to drive scalable web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software using React.js and Tailwind CSS.

The role supports a hybrid office/remote setup in Australia, with opportunities for growth and professional development within a global insurance group.

Competenze

• 8+ years of experience in front-end software development for scalable web applications.
• Computer Science or related degree with a significant programming component.
• Advanced proficiency in React.js and its ecosystem.
• Strong experience with Tailwind CSS and modern styling techniques.
• Familiarity with MVC, MVVM, and component-based architectures.
• Extensive experience defining and implementing robust testing strategies.
• Ability to collaborate with designers, product owners, and backend engineers.

Step into an instrumental role,collaboratingclosely with cross-functional teams, driving the success of our projects to enable us to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Execute full lifecycle software development

Integrate software components into a fully functional software system

Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures

Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live

Comply withproject plans and industry standards

What skills and experienceyou’llbring on this journey:

8+ years of experience in front-end software development, with a focus on scalable web applications

Computer Science or related degree, with a significant programmingcomponent

Advancedproficiencyin React.js and its ecosystem

Strong experience with Tailwind CSS and modern styling techniques

Familiarity with software design principles and architectural patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM, component-based architecture)

Extensive experience in defining and implementing robust testing strategies that uphold code quality, system reliability, and long‑term maintainability

Collaborates effectively with designers, product owners, and backend engineers to deliver complete end‑to‑end features

Demonstrated ability to own complex technical challenges, make sound architectural decisions, and drive solutions through to successful delivery
