Job summary

Zurich Cover-More in Sydney is seeking an accomplished front-end software engineer to drive high-quality web applications and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features.

You will apply React.js with Tailwind CSS, implement testing strategies, and make architectural decisions that scale. The role offers a hybrid work model with three days in the office and two days remote, and opportunities for growth within a global travel-insurance leader.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in front-end software development, with a focus on scalable web applications.
• Computer Science or related degree, with a significant programming component.
• Advanced proficiency in React.js and its ecosystem.
• Strong experience with Tailwind CSS and modern styling techniques.
• Familiarity with software design principles and architectural patterns (MVC, MVVM, component-based architecture).
• Extensive experience in defining and implementing robust testing strategies that uphold code quality, system reliability, and long‑term maintainability.
• Collaborates effectively with designers, product owners, and backend engineers to deliver complete end‑to‑end features.
• Demonstrated ability to own complex technical challenges, make sound architectural decisions, and drive solutions through to successful delivery.
