Job summary

Aurum Talent is partnering with a well-established Cairns real estate agency on the Northern Beaches to hire a hybrid Property Management and Business Development specialist. You will initially take responsibility for a small, tidy and well-maintained residential portfolio while actively generating new managements and expanding the rent roll.

This role combines portfolio management with proactive business development, requiring strong relationship-building, negotiation and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential Property Management and/or Business Development.
• Interest in growing a rent roll and generating new business.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated and results-driven approach.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Current QLD real estate registration or licence.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• Sound knowledge of residential tenancy legislation and property management processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small, well-maintained residential property portfolio.
• Proactively identify and secure new property management business.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow the existing rent roll.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, investors and prospective clients.
• Conduct rental appraisals and convert new business opportunities.
• Manage leasing, inspections, maintenance, renewals and general tenancy matters.
• Generate new business through networking, referrals and relationship building.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a high standard of portfolio management.
• Work closely with an experienced and supportive team to drive business growth.
