Job summary

Agency 168 is seeking a Property Manager/Assistant Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential properties in the Perth metro area. You will liaise with tenants, landlords, and contractors to deliver exceptional service, coordinate inspections, and manage maintenance plus rent collection.

The role requires strong communication, organisational skills and knowledge of property management software. A valid PM registration is preferred, with support from the licensee and ongoing

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months real estate industry experience.
• Current Property Management Registration or Real Estate Registration.
• Proficient with property management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of residential properties and liaise with tenants, landlords and contractors.
• Coordinate property inspections and arrange maintenance/repairs.
• Market and lease vacant properties to minimise vacancy periods.
• Ensure tenancy documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Oversee rent collection and arrears management.
• Resolve tenancy issues promptly and professionally.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and compliance.

Property Manager/Assistant Property Manager

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties and ensuring both tenants and landlords receive exceptional service. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your property management expertise, build strong client relationships and contribute to the continued success of our growing company.

Key responsibilities

• Effectively manage a portfolio of residential properties, including liaising with tenants, landlords and contractors
• Conduct regular property inspections (with assistance) and coordinate maintenance and repair work
• Initial PCR's outsourced
• Market and lease vacant properties
• Ensure all tenancy documentation is completed accurately and on time
• Manage rent collection and arrears
• Resolve tenancy issues and disputes in a professional and timely manner
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements

About you

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with tenants and landlords
• Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
• Proficient in using property management software and Microsoft Office suite
• Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Current Property Management Registration or Unrestricted Real Estate Registration
• Minimum 6 months of real estate industry experience
• Experience or knowledge in property marketing, including digital marketing, social media and online advertising, would be highly regarded but is not essential
• Familiarity with PropertyTree, Inspection Manager, other property management technology and digital platforms would be an advantage but is not essential
• Mandarin speaking is advantageous but not essential
