Gough Recruitment partners with a respected Melbourne real estate agency to recruit a Property Manager for a busy Craigieburn office. Manage a ~160-property portfolio, with Monday–Friday hours and no weekends, supported by Leasing and Field Services teams in a large, established business with modern facilities.

Role offers competitive remuneration with up to AU$85K plus super and commission, plus ongoing development opportunities and a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years residential Property Management experience.
• Current Victorian Certificate of Registration or relevant real estate qualification.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 160 properties.
• Maintain tenant and landlord relationships, delivering high-quality service.
• Coordinate routine inspections, maintenance, lease renewals and compliance.
• Manage arrears and tenancy matters; attend VCAT hearings as required.
• Work with dedicated Leasing and Field Services teams and receive support from Head of Department and Team Leader.
• Utilise established systems including PropertyTree, IRE and Bricks & Agents.

With a rent roll of over 3,000 properties, dedicated Leasing and Field Services teams, and strong leadership in place, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business that genuinely values its Property Managers and provides the resources needed to succeed.

The Opportunity

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 160 properties.
• Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm with no weekends.
• Enjoy a predominantly office-based role with minimal time required out of the office.
• Manage tenant and rental provider relationships, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Coordinate routine inspections, maintenance, lease renewals and compliance.
• Manage arrears, tenancy matters and attend VCAT hearings as required.

About You

We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude who enjoys building relationships, staying organised and delivering a high standard of service. This role would suit an experienced Property Manager seeking a supportive team, established systems and genuine long‑term career opportunities.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous residential Property Management experience, ideally managing an end‑to‑end portfolio.
• Approximately 1–2 years of experience preferred, although less experienced candidates with strong potential will be considered.
• A current Victorian Certificate of Registration or relevant real estate qualification.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confidence handling maintenance, arrears, compliance and VCAT matters.
• A proactive, adaptable attitude and a genuine interest in building a long‑term career.
• A current driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle.
