Job summary

Gough Recruitment is seeking an experienced Property Manager for a family-owned Australian client. The role focuses on landlord relationships, maintenance coordination and portfolio oversight, with dedicated teams handling inspections, leasing and admin tasks.

You will manage a residential portfolio, ensure tenancy compliance, and build strong landlord rapport while reporting to an experienced manager for guidance. This is a Monday–Friday, office-based position with laptop and phone provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ residential Property Management experience.
• Sound knowledge of QLD tenancy legislation.
• Experience managing maintenance, arrears and tenancy matters.
• Strong communication, organisation and follow-through.
• Calm, practical and confident decision-making.
• Team player who collaborates well with others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of residential properties within a team-based structure.
• Build and maintain strong landlord relationships.
• Manage maintenance requests and obtain owner approvals.
• Coordinate decisions between landlords, tenants and contractors.
• Monitor arrears and manage complex tenancy matters.
• Oversee lease renewals, notices, breaches and insurance claims.
• Handle escalated landlord and tenant concerns.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure legislative compliance.
