First National Real Estate Avant is seeking a Property Manager or Senior Property Manager to join our Property Management team in Melbourne. You will oversee residential portfolios, liaise with landlords and tenants, and coordinate leasing, maintenance and inspections.

Training and support are provided within a nationally recognised brand. The role offers exposure to modern systems, a collaborative team, and opportunities for career progression within our growing network.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience for Property Manager or 3+ years for Senior Property Manager in property management.
• Training provided for PropertyMe, Inspect Real Estate, Inspection Express and Office 365.
• Current Agent's Representative Certificate (or Cert IV in Real Estate Practice).
• Current Driver's Licence.
• VCAT exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a residential property portfolio.
• Liaise with landlords and tenants professionally.
• Coordinate advertising, leasing, repairs and maintenance.
• Prepare reports after inspections (Entry, Exit & Routines).
• Support arrears management and lease renewals.
• Provide administrative support to the Property Management team.
• Participate in business development and team growth initiatives.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Property Manager or a Senior Property Manager to join our dynamic and supportive Property Management team. Our offices are strategically located in two key locations, Box Hill in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs and Melbourne CBD. The successful candidate’s primary work location will be selected based on discussion and mutual agreement, taking into consideration the role and business requirements.

You will play a key role in overseeing the full spectrum of property management functions, leveraging your experience to deliver exceptional service. From managing portfolios and nurturing client relationships to coordinating maintenance, inspections, and tenancy matters, you will be instrumental in maintaining the highest professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of a residential property portfolio

Skills & Experience

Ideally but not essential (1 years+ of experience for Property Manager and 3 years+ of experience for Senior Property Manager in a Property Management role).

Understanding or a quick learner of PropertyMe, Inspect Real Estate, Inspection Express and Office 365 (training provided)

Current Agent's Representative Certificate (or Cert IV in Real Estate Practice)

Current Driver's Licence

Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills

A positive attitude, attention to detail, and genuine passion for real estate

Some exposure to VCAT processes and procedures
