Job summary

Jellis Craig Geelong is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our BDM team, nurturing existing relationships, building new connections, and driving growth within our expanding business.

The successful candidate will excel in property management knowledge, convert appraisals into new opportunities, and collaborate with the New Business and Property Management teams to expand our client base across channels.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management and knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Ability to build professional relationships with owners and renters.
• Self-motivated with initiative and professional presentation.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
• Current valid driver’s licence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Proactively build, develop and manage a strong pipeline of prospective investors and clients.
• Oversee the client journey from onboarding through to tenancy.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Respond to appraisal enquiries, conduct appraisals and prepare tailored proposals to secure new business.
• Negotiate property management agreements and management terms.
• Prepare and share regular property market updates, insights and industry trends with clients.
• Provide exceptional client communication and ongoing support to both new and existing clients.
