MAYDAY Recruitment is partnering with a well-established Strata insurer in WA to recruit a Property Claims Consultant to join their Perth team. You will own a portfolio of property and strata claims and work with experienced professionals who value collaboration.

This permanent, full-time role offers steady hours, a supportive environment, and the chance to develop specialist strata expertise while delivering fair outcomes for insureds.

Qualifications

• End-to-end property claims experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing escape of liquid, burst pipes, water damage or other complex property claims.
• Exposure to Strata or Body Corporate Claims is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of building, construction, or property-related claims.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using claims management systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end property and strata claims.
• Assessing coverage, liability, and claim outcomes.
• Liaising with brokers, insureds, assessors, builders, and repairers.
• Coordinating repairs and claim investigations.
• Negotiating settlements and delivering fair outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate claim records and documentation.
• Providing exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting directly to the Claims Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of property claims from first notification through to resolution.
Your day-to-day will include:

• Managing end-to-end property and strata claims
• Assessing coverage, liability, and claim outcomes
• Liaising with brokers, insureds, assessors, builders, and repairers
• Coordinating repairs and claim investigations
• Negotiating settlements and delivering fair outcomes
• Maintaining accurate claim records and documentation
• Providing exceptional customer service throughout the claims process

What We're Looking For

You’ll bring:

• Previous end-to-end Property Claims experience
• Demonstrated experience managing escape of liquid, burst pipe, water damage, or other complex property claims
• Exposure to Strata Claims or Body Corporate Claims highly regarded
• Strong understanding of building, construction, or property-related claims
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to manage a busy claims portfolio with confidence
• Experience using claims management systems and Microsoft Excel
• Full Australian working rights (Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident)
