Job summary

MAYDAY Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Property Claims Consultant to join the SA Claims team in Adelaide. You will manage a portfolio of property and strata claims, from first notification to resolution, with a focus on fair settlements and strong customer service.

You will work in a close-knit team, leveraging specialist strata knowledge while collaborating with brokers, insureds, assessors and repairers. Strong communication and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• End-to-end Property Claims experience.
• Experience managing escape of liquid, burst pipe or water damage claims.
• Exposure to Strata or Body Corporate Claims is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of building or property-related claims.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage a busy claims portfolio with confidence.
• Experience using claims management systems and Excel.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of property and strata claims from first notification through to resolution.
• Assess coverage, liability, and claim outcomes.
• Liaise with brokers, insureds, assessors, builders, and repairers.
• Coordinate repairs and claim investigations.
• Negotiate settlements and deliver fair outcomes.
• Maintain accurate claim records and documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.
