Job summary

ENG Land Services is seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to deliver cadastral surveying and construction set-out across Sydney and NSW. You will work independently on complex boundary, subdivision, and development projects while supporting construction set-outs from early civil works to as-built surveys.

The role emphasizes hands-on fieldwork, client liaison, and accurate data processing using survey software and hardware. NSW-based applicants with full working rights are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years' post-graduate experience in cadastral surveying, with construction set-out experience.
• Proficiency with total stations, GNSS/RTK equipment, and relevant survey/CAD software.
• Full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available).
• Current NSW driver's license.
• White Card (Construction Induction) and ability to pass site inductions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with clients, councils, and site teams.
• High attention to detail and sound judgement in resolving technical matters.

• Undertake as-built and progress surveys to verify construction compliance with approved plans.

• Liaise with clients, councils, developers, engineers, and site personnel to coordinate survey requirements

We are seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to join our team, delivering high-quality cadastral surveying and construction set-out services across the Sydney metropolitan area and greater NSW. The successful candidate will work independently on complex boundary, subdivision, and development projects while also providing precise, reliable set-out support for construction sites — from early civil works through to final as-built surveys.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct cadastral surveys including boundary identification, subdivisions, consolidations, easements, and strata plans, in accordance with the Surveying and Spatial Information Act and relevant NSW legislation under supervision of Registered Surveyor.

Perform construction set-out for civil, residential, and commercial projects, including road and drainage works, building , levels, and services

Undertake as-built and progress surveys to verify construction compliance with approved plans

Operate total stations, GNSS/RTK GPS equipment ; process field data using survey software , familiarity with Magnet and/or Civil 3D

Liaise with clients, councils, developers, engineers, and site personnel to coordinate survey requirements

Requirements
