Job summary

ISGroup is seeking a Senior Surveyor to join our Sydney team. The role focuses on field surveys, data reduction, and plan preparation, supporting our expanding geospatial services. The successful candidate will bring strong surveying expertise, 12D Field experience, and a proactive, collaborative approach to deliver accurate results across multiple project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying or Geomatics engineering or equivalent (TAFE).
• Licensing as a Surveyor and professional memberships are preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Undertake surveys as requested by Operations Manager or Survey Coordinator.
• Pre-organise job requirements and pre-calculations as needed.
• Prepare plans and compute survey data.

About the role:

We are seeking a Senior Surveyor on a full-time basis to join our expanding team in Sydney.

Key responsibilities:

• Undertake surveys requested by the Operations Manager and/or Survey Coordinator
• Pre-organise job requirements (plans, field notes, dwg files) and pre-calculations if necessary
• Prepare plans, reduce and compute survey data

You’ll thrive in our team if you have:

• Proven experience as a Surveyor, with a strong understanding of surveying techniques and practices
• 12D Field experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics Engineering or TAFE equivalent
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Licensed Surveyor) and professional memberships (e.g., SSSI) are preferred
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various project sites
