Job summary

MNG, a national surveying firm, seeks an experienced Registered Surveyor to lead non-field oversight of diverse survey projects from the office. You will own project quality, mentor teams, and shape outcomes on award-winning developments.

In this role you will oversee cadastral and engineering surveys, review field data, and ensure outputs meet high QA standards while collaborating with project managers and clients. NSW registration is required, with growth into senior technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Registered Surveyor with NSW registration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cadastral, engineering, detailed and infrastructure surveys.

• Represent MNG at client meetings and site inspections.

What You Bring to the Table

We're looking for a Registered Surveyor ready to take the next step overseeing, reviewing and guiding a diverse range of survey projects with autonomy and confidence. This is a role for someone who wants to shape outcomes, not just deliver data.

You'll:

• Oversee and support Cadastral, Engineering, Detailed and Infrastructure Surveys, ensuring cadastral work complies with all relevant legislation.
• Review and quality-check field-collected data reduced into CAD packages or sketch plans, ensuring field teams' work aligns with MNG's quality assurance standards.
• Oversee the preparation of Deposited Plans, ensuring MNG consistently delivers accurate, high-quality outputs.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to internal stakeholders on surveying matters.
• Represent MNG at client meetings and site inspections as required.Drive research and development initiatives that keep MNG at the forefront of the industry.
• Partner closely with Project Managers, keeping projects on track and stakeholders informed.

What You'll Also Need

• Registration with the NSW Surveyors Board as a Registered Surveyor.
• Advanced proficiency in an appropriate survey reduction package.
• Sharp analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
• A strong track record of high-quality survey outputs.
• Confidence working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
