Job summary

Total Surveying Solutions in Sydney CBD NSW is seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to lead major transport, infrastructure and construction projects across NSW. You’ll own projects, mentor junior surveyors and work with engineers, site supervisors and project managers to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

Total Surveying Solutions – Sydney CBD NSW

At TSS – Total Surveying Solutions, we're growing our Sydney team and are looking for an experienced Senior Surveyor to help deliver major transport, infrastructure and construction projects across NSW.

You'll have the autonomy to manage your own work, the support of experienced managers and the opportunity to work on projects that challenge and develop your skills.

The Role

As a Senior Surveyor, you'll take ownership of your projects while providing technical guidance to junior surveyors and helping deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

Establishing and maintaining survey control

Construction set-out and QA surveying

Managing conformance reporting and deviation analysis

Producing accurate survey data and documentation

Working closely with engineers, site supervisors and project managers

Mentoring and supporting junior surveyors

Delivering projects safely, accurately and on schedule

About You

You’ll bring:

A Degree or Diploma in Surveying, Geomatics or Geospatial Engineering

Strong experience in construction and infrastructure surveying

Experience using 12d and 12d Field

Excellent communication and leadership skills

The ability to work independently while supporting the wider team

A current Australian Driver Licence

A commitment to quality, safety and delivering great outcomes

Physical Requirements

This position includes:

Working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Carrying surveying equipment (up to 20kg)

Working around live construction environments

Driving between project sites

Occasional overtime when project requirements demand
