Job summary

NSW Public Works (PW) is seeking a dedicated Project Support Officer in Lismore. You will provide project and operational support across PW, assisting Project Managers and teams, and coordinating day-to-day office operations in a regional setting.

The role emphasises administration, procurement understanding, and staff engagement within a dynamic, government-focused environment. A 2-year temporary full-time contract with a 35-hour week and flexible start times is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience providing project, contractor or business administrative support.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with staff, stakeholders, contractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration support to Project Managers and project teams.
• Coordinate property and fleet management, staff onboarding and WHS activities.
• Maintain accurate records and databases and ensure compliance with policies.
