Job summary

Burnett Mary Regional Group For NRM in Hervey Bay is seeking a Project Support Coordinator to bolster the Cool Burn Squad. The role supports administration, information management and operational coordination across project activities, with travel to field events as needed.

You’ll maintain records, support EOIs, assist with procurement and logistics, and work closely with Traditional Owners and stakeholders to keep projects on track. Flexible arrangements welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience in project administration, coordination or a similar support role.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital information systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Proactive in identifying incomplete tasks and following through.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process and maintain landholder Expressions of Interest and records.
• Maintain landholder, property, engagement and project information in CRM and PM systems.
• Assist with property and landholder information checks using mapping tools.
• Keep project records audit-ready and well organised.
• Support project scheduling, procurement and general administration.
• Coordinate routine equipment servicing and logistics for Cool Burn Squad.
• Assist with field activities, workshops and community engagement.
• Collaborate with Traditional Owners, Indigenous practitioners, landholders and stakeholders.
