Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Project Supervisor in coal mining
• Mechanical trade or proven high mechanical competency
• RIISAM401E in lieu of trade
• Experience with gas detectors and gas management
• Open QLD Driver’s Licence
• Current Coal Board Medical
• Standard 11 (Surface)
• S123 (G1, G8, G9)
• G2 – Carry out the Risk Management Process
• RIIMPO304E – Conduct Wheel Loader Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a small crew across production, compliance, and maintenance
• Diagnose issues, perform hands-on repairs, ensure safe operation
• Liaise with clients and maintain strong working relationships
• Ensure compliance with Safety & Health Management System
• Implement risk management processes
• Use Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation
• Maintain accurate filing and record keeping
• Utilize gas detectors and support gas management processes
