Job summary

WorkPac Group in Moranbah, Queensland, is seeking an experienced Coal Mining Supervisor to lead crews, ensure safety, and drive production targets at a major site.

You will hold required mining qualifications and have 5+ years of coal mining and supervisory experience. Camp facilities and meals are provided, with a 7/7 DSNS roster as part of the package.

About Our Client

Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across multiple sites throughout Queensland's Bowen Basin, offering outstanding career opportunities within the mining industry.

What You Will Be Doing

• Supervising and leading crews within the Coal Mining Department
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently in line with site procedures
• Coordinating daily operational activities to achieve production targets
• Promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance with site standards
• Providing leadership, mentoring, and support to mine site personnel

What You Will Need

• Current S1, S2, S3 / G1, G8, G9
• Current Standard 11
• Current Coal Board Medical (CBM)
• Minimum 5 years' coal mining experience preferred
• Previous supervisory experience within a mining environment
• Current Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
