Job summary

MCA Engineering is seeking experienced Underground Servicemen, Timbermen and Service Crew for a major underground construction project in Central West NSW. You will install, extend and maintain underground mine services, including ventilation, water and dewatering systems, and related infrastructure.

Applicants should have underground mining experience, relevant licences, and be able to work 2:1 day/night rosters, pass pre-employment medical and drug tests, and follow site procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous Underground Serviceman, Timberman or Service Crew experience.
• Demonstrated underground mining experience.
• Experience installing and maintaining underground services.

Responsibilities

• Installing, extending and maintaining underground mine services.
• Installing ventilation, water, air and dewatering services.
• Installing pipes, cables and associated infrastructure.
• Completing rock drilling as required for underground construction and service installations.
• Assisting with general underground construction and service crew duties.
• Inspecting work areas, equipment and services.
• Working closely with supervisors and other underground personnel.
• Completing all work safely and in accordance with site procedures.
