Job summary

Proactive Technical Recruitment in Melbourne seeks an experienced Project Planner to support the expansion of an Australian fulfillment network. You will develop and maintain integrated schedules for large-scale facilities, coordinating with engineering, startup and construction teams to keep milestones on track.

The role requires strong planning, risk assessment, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely delivery across distribution centers and delivery stations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration or related field
• Experience in project planning, scheduling and implementation in a complex environment
• Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Oracle Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or equivalent
• Experience managing large-scale projects with multiple dependencies and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient inMicrosoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated plans for large-scale fulfillment centre, delivery stations and sort centre projects
• Coordinate interdependent vendor material flow and installation schedules
• Track project progress and develop contingency plans to mitigate delays
• Partner with engineering and construction teams to ensure milestones are met
• Manage master scheduling, ensuring alignment with key project deliverables
• Facilitate schedule reviews with internal and external stakeholders
• Conduct schedule impact assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
• Analyse resource loading and advise on adjustments as necessary
• Monitor and report on project activities, milestones and planning risks
• Support the implementation of planning best practices and standardisation across the network

Project Planner - Logistics Infrastructure

About the Role

Our client is a global e-commerce and logistics leader seeking a highly experienced Project Planner to support the continued expansion of their Australian fulfillment network. You'll develop and maintain integrated project schedules for large-scale facilities - including fulfillment centres, sort centres, and delivery stations.

Working closely with engineering, startup and construction teams, you'll track progress, identify risks, conduct schedule impact assessments and champion planning best practices across the network. If you thrive on managing complex dependencies and keeping ambitious programs on track, this is the role for you.

• Experience with AutoCAD or similar software for layout planning
