Job summary

Electro Optic Systems International Pty Ltd is seeking a Project Support / Supply Chain Coordinator to keep schedules current, advance purchase orders and manage long‑lead items for our high‑tech defence and space programmes. You will coordinate logistics for trials, manage material planning and support engineers in a fast‑moving environment.

The role offers field time and exposure to ERP/MRP systems, with training provided to grow into project delivery across EOS programs.

Qualifications

Background in supply chain, purchasing, logistics, planning, project support or a related field within an engineering, defence, construction or manufacturing environment.
Experience with scheduling tools or a willingness to learn scheduling with support from the team.
Exposure to ERP/MRP systems for purchasing and inventory.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain programme schedules in scheduling software; track baselines and critical path from engineering inputs.
Prepare weekly and monthly reporting packs with milestone status, actions and risk updates.
Raise and expedite purchase requests and POs with Supply Chain from requisition to goods receipt.
Maintain materiel and equipment plans, long-lead item registers and delivery dates.
Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, including dangerous goods, customs and export docs.
Maintain asset and equipment registers, calibration due dates and site movements.
Coordinate trial and demonstration logistics, site access and visitor approvals.
Provide programme administration, including minutes, document control and travel bookings.
