Job summary

EOS is building our high energy laser weapon capability with a strong focus on logistics, scheduling and procurement for trials. The team supports complex hardware builds and field operations, coordinating from requisitions to delivery with close vendor liaison.

The role requires willingness to spend time on site, travel for trials, and a proactive approach to coordinating timelines and paperwork in a fast-moving engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Background in supply chain, purchasing, logistics, planning or a similar field within engineering, defence, construction or manufacturing.
• Experience with scheduling tools (MS Project or Primavera P6) or willingness to learn with team support.
• Exposure to ERP/MRP systems for purchasing and inventory such as Epicor or SAP.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and trackers; proficient with MS 365 and SharePoint.
• Ability to read BOMs, drawings and delivery schedules to chase items with vendors.
• Clear written communication with meticulous record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain program schedules, baselines and critical paths.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports with milestone status and risks.
• Raise and track purchase orders; coordinate requisitions through to goods receipt.
• Maintain materiel and equipment plan with delivery dates and schedule impact.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, freight, customs, and export docs.
• Maintain asset/equipment registers and calibration scheduling.
• Coordinate trial logistics, site access and visitor approvals.
• Provide programme administration including meeting minutes and document control.
