Job summary

Electro Optic Systems is seeking a Logistics Support Officer for Defence Systems to coordinate shipments across domestic, import, and export channels. You will prepare documentation, bookings, and maintain accurate shipment records while aligning with project timelines in a high-volume logistics environment.

The role reports to the Logistics Procurement Manager and is a 12-month full-time fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

• Interest in starting or building a career in logistics or supply chain.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, or administration roles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipment requests and align with project timelines.
• Prepare shipment details and booking requirements for approval.
• Arrange domestic, import, and export shipments with freight providers.
• Prepare and manage shipment documentation (invoices, packing lists, SLI).
• Monitor shipments from dispatch to delivery and escalate delays.
• Maintain shipment data and ERP records.
