Job summary

The Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) is seeking a proactive Project Officer for a full-time temporary role with a possibility of permanency to support the Trade Skills and Renewable Energy Programs.

You will coordinate programs, events and business activities, ensuring compliance with CIT and ACT Government requirements, and provide high-level operational and project support across a diverse portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational administration, executive support or governance is desirable.
• A qualification in vocational education is highly desirable.
• Relevant experience in project delivery and stakeholder coordination is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level operational, project and business support to the College Director and College Leadership Team.
• Coordinate programs, projects, events and business activities, ensuring effective planning, delivery and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, briefs, grant documentation and compliance records.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of renewable energy projects, including milestones, deliverables, budgets and risk management activities.
• Research, analyse and present information to support planning, decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with industry, government, community and educational stakeholders.
• Manage complex, sensitive and time-critical matters with professionalism, discretion and accuracy.
• Coordinate administrative processes and workflows that support efficient and consistent business operations.
• Work collaboratively within the job share arrangement to maintain effective handovers, continuity of work and achievement of team objectives.
