The University of Newcastle seeks a Project Officer, Equity Pathways and Student Transition to deliver practical initiatives that improve opportunities for low-SES and First Nations students. This fixed-term, full-time role focuses on VET–higher education pathways, stakeholder collaboration and data-driven evaluation.

Reporting to the Manager, Tertiary Pathways and Integrated Partnerships, you will coordinate projects, track progress and ensure evidence-informed outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating projects, meetings and stakeholder activities.
• Proactive approach to improving processes and service delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across diverse stakeholders.
• Well-developed organisational, written communication and reporting skills.
• Experience maintaining and analysing data to show progress and outcomes.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate equity pathway, participation and transition projects with plans, timelines and risk management.
• Support student engagement activities for low-SES and First Nations students and liaise with stakeholders.
• Coordinate VET–higher education pathways and transition activities with consistent processes.
• Capture and analyse participation and outcome data to support reporting and evaluation.
• Assist with compliance, QA and reporting with documented benefits for cohorts.
