The University of Newcastle is seeking a Coordinator, Equity Pathways and Integrated Partnerships to turn its equity commitments into action. You will coordinate evidence-informed initiatives to improve access, participation, progression and transition outcomes for low-SES and First Nations students.

Based at Callaghan Campus, this fixed-term full-time role runs from 2 February 2027 to 31 December 2027, with a focus on building enduring VET–higher education partnerships and ensuring governance

Qualifications

• Experience leading projects in a complex organisational environment.
• Knowledge of tertiary pathways, articulation and credit arrangements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical abilities.

Responsabilités

• Coordinating equity pathway, participation, progression and student transition initiatives for low-SES and First Nations students.
• Building partnerships with TAFE NSW, VET providers, Colleges, Schools and University stakeholders.
• Coordinating implementation of VET-to-higher education pathways including articulation and credit arrangements.
• Developing and monitoring project plans, timelines and risks; ensuring delivery within timeframes.
• Preparing reports, briefings, presentations and governance documentation; maintaining records of pathways.
• Collecting and analysing data to assess effectiveness and identify improvements.
• Supporting compliance with policies and reporting obligations; demonstrating benefits for eligible cohorts.
